We focus on the repair and regeneration of injured and diseased neural tissues, including peripherial nerve innervation, functional restoration of spinal cord injury (SCI) and traumatic brain injury (TBI), and recovery of stroke brain damage. Details include development of bioactive nerve conduits for peripheral nerve regeneation, stem cell (neural stem cells) delivery for functional recovery of injured spinal cord and traumatic brain, and design of nano-vehicles and DDS for subsidizing neuro-inflammation while promoting angiogenesis.
