Myoung-Seon Gong is currently a professor in the department of Chemistry at Dankook University.

He attended Seoul National University with a BS in industrial chemistry and then did his Ph.D in polymer chemistry at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology in 1983.

He was a research assistant in the department of chemistry at the University of Arizona in 1986-1987 and a technical advisor at Ink Tec Company in 1998-2002.

His research interests are polymer processing, polymer characterization, and engineering plastics and specialty polymers, as well as polymer composites.

His research interests emphasize in the development of therapeutic biomaterials for regenerative medicine.
