Dr. Goeun Choi received her Ph.D. degree (2016) in inorganic chemistry from Ewha Womans University under the supervision of Prof. Jin-Ho Choy.

She worked as a post-doctoral research fellow at the Center for Intelligent Nano-Bio Materials (CINBM), Department of Chemistry and Nanoscience at Ewha Womans University, and Future Industries Institute (FII) at University of South Australia.

She also worked as a research professor in the Department of Chemistry and Nanoscience at Ewha Womans University (Sep. 2018) and an invited professor in the ITREN at Dankook University (Feb. 2020).

And she is currently working as an assistant professor in the ITREN and College of Science & Technology at Dankook University.

Her research interests focus on the development of nanohybrid materials, and their applications towards multifunctional drug and gene delivery systems.
